The old Irish Parliament was bought by the Bank of Ireland. The customer counters are in the old House of Commons, its ceiling decorated with lion heads; the old House of Lords has remained as Inigo Jones designed it with its beautiful coffered ceiling and 18C tapestries. An audio-visual presentation and an exhibition of old forms of money help outline the role of the Bank of Ireland in the economic development of the country since the Bank’s foundation in 1783.
