Reopened after refurbishment, The Abbey Hotel is in Dublin city centre, across the river from Temple Bar and close to the shops, bars and attractions. It has good-value en suite rooms and a new bar and restaurant. The Abbey Hotel is only a few steps from the Academy music venue and 300 metres from the shops of Henry Street. Grafton Street and the Olympia Theatre are both 700 metres away. The room come with TVs, toiletries and tea/coffee. The James Joyce’s pub and restaurant was refurbished in late 2009. The restaurant serves local produce and the bar has live traditional music at weekends. Major sporting events are shown on the big screen.
