Small Metropolitan : The Michelin guide review

The Small Metropole is a charming 12C Byzantine church. In the external walls, the oldest decorative elements have been re-used: between the two Corinthian capitals, marking the corners of the façade, runs an ancient frieze (4C B.C.), representing the Months with the signs of the Zodiac; on this same façade, note several bas-reliefs (9 -10C) with symbolic Christian subjects. The twin-bar cross and the coats of arms of the La Roches and the Villehardouins are from the 13C.
