This museum must be seen by all those who are interested in the history of modern Greece, i.e. the period from the fall of Constantinople (1435) to the Second World War. The rooms are devoted to Greece under the Venetian and Ottoman dominations; to the War of Independence; to the sometimes tumultuous course from the Independence of Greece to our own time.
