Museum of Cycladic Art : The Michelin guide review

The core of this museum illustrating the development of Greek art over a period of 3 000 years is the outstanding private collection of N-P Goulandris. You will find around 350 objects evoking Cycladic civilisation and a magnificent collection of marble idols, remarkable for their sobriety and modernity of line. 300 works representative of ancient Greek art are also exhibited, and a new wing houses the Antiquities collection of the Athens Academy. Temporary exhibitions also take place.
