This church, attached to Athens University, probably derives its name from that of a founder. It is a double church comprising two adjoining chapels, one, to the right, from the 11C, on the plan of a Greek cross, the other from the 13C, surmounted by a cupola. The narthex which joined the two façades was also installed in the 13C. The paintings, of Byzantine inspiration, are modern.
