  Pleasant interior, tasty dishes

  - all dishes were made with the same fish, only souces were different - when pouring wine the waiters didn't wrap bottles with a towel therefore wine dropped on the table - dished were served very fast without break between them - we tried the chief's menu - which consisted of only 4 dishes - no compliments or additional bread were suggested - staff brought the bill even though I didn't ask and by that moment we managed to eat only the first dish - the worst thing was that they charged me 34 euro more than indicated in the bill. As they explained they didn'tnotice that wine was already included into the bill and charged it twice. After about 10 minutes of waiting the waiter came up and corrected the amount. They didn't even brought any compliment due to their mistake. The main idea is that when going to a michelin restaurant we usually expect more. The issue with this restaurant was that it was usual and faceless compared to other michlin restaurants I've been to.

  L'accoglienza e' stata buona.

  Purtroppo il ristorante non e' stato all'altezza della sua stella! La carta del menu era sporca e consunta. La carta dei vini era logora e solo in greco! Alla richiesta di aiuto il sommelier ha risposto con malavoglia. La terrazza era rumorosa e qualcuno stava facendo del barbecue, diversa cenere e' finita sul nostro tavolo e su quelli vicini. Nonostante questo nessun cameriere si e' attivato a pulire. Il menu e la presentazione erano molto banali, si avvicinavano molto a quelli turistici. L'insalata di polipo era da servisol e i ravioli non erano per niente freschi ma gommosi e malcotti. il caffè ci e' stato servito senza nessun accompagnamento di friandises. L'unica cosa che giustificava la stella Michelin era il prezzo. Ci chiediamo come mai questo ristorante vanti una stella Michelin.

  le cadre était agréable. Nous étions en terrasse avec une vue sur l'acropole.

  La liste est longue, tellement la déception fut grande. * le service était très médiocre : personnel peu sympathique, changement de couverts pendant que nous mangeons, ... * Nous avons opté pour le menu à la carte, ce qui était peut-être une erreur. Bon nombre de plats à la carte n'était pas disponibles dont le homard ou le risotto. Par la suite, le serveur est venu me dire qu'il manquait tel ou tel aliment dans mon plat... *l'entrée était digne d'un restaurant de seconde zone. Ce n'était certes pas mauvais mais la quantité était énorme pour une entrée et surtout dans un restaurant qui se dit gastronomique et la qualité était très moyenne. Aucune originalité. *le plat était comme l'entrée : sans originalité et sans saveur. * le prix de 188 euros est surfait eu égard au manque d'originalité et eu égard à la qualité des plats et du service. le prix se justifie sans doute sur base de l'étoile accordée au chef; ce qui est incompréhensible étant donné la qualité de sa cuisine. CCl : très décevant. ne mérite pas son étoile, ni même d'être recommandé par michelin. Cette cuisine, c'est juste du vent pour des personnes peu distinguées et peu habituées à la grande cuisine.

  excellent seafood dishes prepared with lots of imagination, by Lefteris Lazarou one of the best greek chefs.

  Cons

  Area is a bit rough. Wine list could provide some more oaked white wines. Service can be slow sometimes

  La carte des dessertes excellante

  Cons

  Avant de présenter la carte il faut prévenir le client sur la disponibilité. C`est dommage de faire la découverte au fur et a mesure (si nous n`acceptons pas la proposition du chef – selon l`heure et la table). Le service ne doit pas toucher les clients, et pendant le temps que nous attendons nos amis il pouvait nous proposer un apéro (finalement nous avons pris l`initiative) et l` accompagner avec quelque chose.

  cuisine is a creative and unique version of greek seafood. preparation and presentation are precise not "babbling". a must experience when in athens

  Cons

  on busy weekend nights service suffers. wine list adequate but definetely short on international selections

  The combination of the ingredients is unique and the final result becomes excellent.

  Cons

  When the service will follow-up the upper-level of the food served, Varoulko will go for its second star.

  Jolie vue sur l'Acropole. Service correct. Carte de vins grecs assez complète. Produits frais. Bonne cuisine sans être originale.

  Cons

  Pas de section non-fumeur. La carte des vins seulement en grec. Pas de menu ni de tarif (c'est la surprise en fin de repas et la note est plutot salée). Dommage que ce restaurant ne serve que des produits de la mer.
