Travel guide Tealing
Tealing : The Michelin guide review
Ten kilometres north of Dundee, the village of Tealing has a beautiful dressed stone dovecote with two gables. Not far away is an earth-house built by the Picts, an ancient Scottish people. It consists of a long passage, now without a roof, leading to an inner chamber. It is not known for sure whether it served as a dwelling place, refuge, meat safe or animal shelter.
