Venture through the Celtic heartlands, stopping at the Wallace Monument, built in memory of one of Scotland's greatest heroes. Visit a whisky distillery, and witness the splendor of Loch Tay.

Travel north from Glasgow through the Scottish countryside, towards the small city of Stirling. Visit the imposing Wallace Monument, sitting astride a hilltop overlooking the city. The monument was built in the memory of Sir William Wallace, star character in the blockbuster film Braveheart. Take in the glamorous surroundings of the area around the monument and hear of its construction and the man from which it gets its name.

Continue from Stirling north into the Scottish Highlands, with a stop to explore Dewar's Whisky Distillery in Aberfeldy, and take some time to eat lunch. After the distillery, return to your motor coach and hit the roads through the highlands.

Admire the striking beauty of the majestic Loch Tay as you travel its length, set beneath the dramatic Ben Lawers, tallest of the Seven Munros Mountains. Pass through the town of Killin at the northern end of the loch, in the romantic Glen Dochart on your way through Rob Roy country. Traverse the banks of the "Bonnie Banks" of Loch Lomond, a reference to a traditional song played at the end of a night of revelry.

Stop at the conservation village of Luss, situated on the banks of Loch Lomond. The village is a cultural heritage site and gives you a glimpse of Scotland's past with its preserved buildings and beautiful surroundings. See the picturesque cottages that line the streets of this historic village, as well as a kilt maker and bagpipe works. Return to central Glasgow in the evening.
