TOURISM
The Parliament was built in the 17C upon orders from Charles I and hosted the Scottish Parliament between 1639 and 1707. An imposing Georgian façade was added in the 18C, then another in 1803 (Robert Adam's plans and completed by George Reid). It has since been turned into a court house.
