On the ground floor of an extremely beautiful Victorian building designed by George Gilbert Scott, this museum relates the activities that made Dundee town prosperous in the 19th and 20th Century.
Upstairs, in the sumptuous Albert Hall, you can see a host of 19th C paintings and objects brought together by several eminent collectors and you even have a small window into 20th C Scottish painting in the Mackenzie gallery.
