Travel guide Aberfoyle
Aberfoyle : The Michelin guide review
In magnificent natural surroundings, Aberfoyle is busy with tourists in summer, many of whom visit The Scottish Wool Centre. Here, in addition to the merchandise, there is an entertaining "sheep show", where four-legged models illustrate the history of the Scottish wool industry. The audio-visual presentation in the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park Visitor Centre near the village provides an excellent introduction to the forest park. A variety of trails in the vicinity are open to the public.
