St James's Park : The Michelin guide review

Running to the south of the St James's district on the other side of the Mall, this attractive park was laid out in the “picturesque” style. With its various species, lake and attractive views over London’s monuments, it provides one of the most agreeable and busiest walks in the capital. From the bridge there are views in the direction of the palace on one side and of the buildings in Whitehall on the other, plunging the viewer into the heart of what was the British Empire.
