TOURISM
This shelter, designed to protect Churchill, his war cabinet and the general staff, was the Prime Minister's headquarters during the Second World War. The nineteen rooms still have their furniture and complement of bureaucratic fixtures and fittings. The recently opened Churchill Museum allows visitors to learn not only about the man as a great statesman, but also about his private side, habits, obsessions and passions.
