Travel guide Denbigh
Denbigh
: The Michelin guide review
Denbigh is a commercial town clustered on a hillside overlooking the Vale of Clwyd to the east. Charming narrow streets lead to the ruined castle built by Henry de Lacy in 1282. The explorer Henry Morton Stanley (1841-1904), best known for his remark "Doctor Livingstone, I presume?", was born in Denbigh and brought up in St Asaph.
