This museum charts the epic story of the construction in 1927 of the experimental Weißenhof estate ( Weißenhofsiedlung), designed to depict the history of world architecture. 17 young architects built 21 flat-roofed buildings on this hill in Stuttgart. Enjoy a walk through the villa designed by Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret, perfectly restored and surprisingly modern. Another ten buildings, saved from demolition but viewable only from the outside, round off the visit.
