Filmmuseum Potsdam star : The Michelin guide review

This Baroque building, originally built in 1685 as an orangery, is one of the oldest monuments in the city and one of the few buildings that remain from Potsdam Palace. In the 18C the building was transformed into the Royal Stables. Today it houses Potsdam’s Film Museum dedicated to the famous Babelsberg studios situated on the other bank of the Havel, where movies such as Die Nibelungen by Fritz Lang (1924) and, more recently, The Pianist by Roman Polanski (2002) were filmed.
