For as long as can be recalled this striking brewery guesthouse in the pedestrian zone has been known for its good beer, which has been brewed here since 1885. The interior courtyard is one of the city's loveliest beer gardens.

      Pros

      Uriges traditionelles Ambiente; freundlicher Service; wer typisch bayrisch essen und gutes Münchner Bier trinken will ist hier richtig. Geschmeckt hat uns das Hendl. Sehr schöner Biergarten im Innenhof!

      Cons

      Speisekarte ziemlich unübersichtlich. Essen war insgesamt enttäuschend: Der Hirschbraten wurde mit Pilzsauce überflutet, Knödel war hart und geschmacksneutral. Leider nur Großgaststättenniveau! Weinauswahl einzige Katatstrophe (man sollte sich hier unbedingt an's Bier halten, man tut sich sonst keinen Gefallen).
