Journey through the Chiemgau region and enjoy the awesome backdrop of the Lower Bavarian Alps. Upon arrival in Salzburg, benefit from some free time for shopping before enjoying a walk through the picturesque old part of the city.

The trip continues with a wonderful ride featuring breathtaking views of the landscape where the opening scenes of The Sound of Music were filmed. Not only will you drive through this picturesque Lake District, you will also have the opportunity to take a boat ride on Lake Wolfgangsee. Pass Lake Mondsee (Wedding Church ) before returning to Munich.

Please note: A valid passport and/or visa is required to visit Austria.

A valid passport and/or visa is required to visit Austria. All necessary documentation must be obtained before the tour departure. Commentary is available in English and German only. Please arrive at the departure location at 8:10 AM in time for your 8:30 AM departure. Tour participation is complimentary for children under the age of 4. The boat ride on Lake Wolfgangsee is not included in the listed rates. If you choose to take the boat ride, you must pay an extra charge on the day of your tour. Admission fees are not included.
