Fine Arts Museum : The Michelin guide review

The Stadtische Kunsthalle museum houses 19C and 20C art. The sculpture department is particularly rich, with works by Rodin, Brancusi, Giacometti, Barlach, Nam June Paik and Richard Long. There are also important works by the French Impressionists, painters of the Secessionist movement and German Expressionists. One department presents the New Objectivity movement and art since 1945. The museum is renowned for its temporary exhibitions dedicated to well-known modern and contemporary artists.
