Schleswig-Holsteinisches Open Air Museum : The Michelin guide review

Some sixty farms and rural buildings typical of the country north of the Elbe and dating from the 16C to the 19C are reconstructed in this open-air museum (Schleswig-Holsteinisches Freilichtmuseum) and grouped into hamlets according to their geographical origin. Local craftsmen demonstrate traditional skills in the forge, potter's workshop, old loom, mill and old-fashioned bakehouse.
