This enlightening walking tour begins on one of Germany's most chic–and expensive–shopping streets, the Königsallee. Designer shops flank electrical stores; towering department stores sandwich chic boutiques. Advance through the historical downtown and embark on a boat ride to the Media Harbour. Cruise alongside striking modern architecture including designs by celebrated architect Frank Gehry. Back on dry land; head to theAltstadt (the Old Town) and mosey along narrow lanes lined with traditional houses, old churches, quaint breweries, and bustling terraces. Characterised by hundreds of vibrant bars; theAltstadt is where the young and old set the world to rights.

You must arrive at the departure location at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Due to some public holidays or international events, the boat ride may be cancelled. Commentary is available in either English or German only. Children age 5 and younger participate for free.
