Begin with a drive along Düsseldorf's landmark shopping boulevard, the Königsallee (known as the 'Kö'). Shoppers scurry in and out of exclusive boutiques and huge shopping malls as you roll past. Get off at theAldstadt (the Old Town) and stretch your legs on the cobblestone lanes of this historical centre, famous for cramming in over 300 pubs and restaurants and fondly nick-named 'the longest bar in the world'! As you stroll, your guide narrates Düsseldorf's 200-year history of fine art. Head back onto the bus and over to the River Rhine's left bank. Stop at a superb vantage point to contemplate the vista over theAltstadt. Then proceed to the New Media Mile and soar high above the city in the Rhine Tower elevator. Appreciate a captivating bird's eye view over the city and the winding River Rhine from a height of 168m (550 feet) before heading down the river on a cruise.
