The Semper Opera House was designed by the architect responsible for the picture gallery in the Zwinger. Gutted by fire in 1869, then completely destroyed in the 1945 allied attacks on the city, the Semper has since been faithfully restored. Listen as your German-speaking guide outlines its eventful history, lavish interior, and famous performers.

You'll also get a one-day pass to a double-decker sightseeing tour. The 22 stops encompass the major points of interest in Dresden and you can jump on board and hop off at any point. Plus, your ticket is also valid for as many of the following tours you'd like to do the same day:

  • Guided tour of the Zwinger
  • Guided tour of the Procession of Princes
  • Guided tour of the Church of Our Lady
  • Visit to the Pfund's Dairy
  • Evening sightseeing hop-on, hop-off tour
