Pergamon Museum : The Michelin guide review

Known around the world for its reconstruction of ancient monuments, this is the most recent of the museums on Museum Island. Divided into three sections, its most interesting exhibits include the Collection of Antiquities; the Museum of Near Eastern Antiquities, including the Processional Way of Ancient Babylon and the Ishtar gate (580 BC); and the Museum of Islamic Art, with its superb façade from Mshatta palace and its collection of carpets.
