Kulturforum : The Michelin guide review

The Kulturforum, designed by Hans Scharoun at the end of the 1950s, was created to house West Berlin’s works of art (most of the city’s cultural monuments were situated in East Berlin at the time). The museum, dedicated to music and the arts, is home to the Art Gallery, Decorative Arts Museum, Museum of Graphic Arts, New National Gallery, a musical research institute, a chamber musical hall and the Philharmonic Concert Hall. The Kulturforum now stands in the heart of unified Berlin, near the huge Potsdamer Platz.
