Charlottenburg : The Michelin guide review

In the 19C, until German re-unification, Charlottenburg was a popular excursion just outside Berlin. Gradually, private houses were built here, as well as the first factories. People came to enjoy themselves at the Flora (1871-1874), where concerts and receptions were held, and where there was a hothouse containing luxuriant plants. Today the palace and its museums, as well as those nearby (such as the Bröhan museum) constitute one of Berlin's main attractions.
