Travel guide Wimereux
Wimereux
: The Michelin guide review
Nestling in Saint-Jean bay, this lively, family seaside resort has a charming atmosphere. The resort has retained many of its early-20C Anglo-Norman style villas, especially along the rue des Anglais, rue du Général-de-Gaulle, rue Napoléon, avenue de la Mer and along the seafront. The seawall-promenade, lined with blue and white beach buts, boasts lovely views of the Pas de Calais, the Colonne de la Grande Armée and the port of Boulogne.
