Rue de Lappe : The Michelin guide review

This legendary Parisian street was famous for its dance halls before the Second World War. Le Balajo is the only survivor of these venues which were frequented by the group of artists and musicians known as the “Apaches”. Verdant courtyards are hidden behind several doorways, in particular n° 24, n° 26 (St-Louis courtyard, with a small statue of the saint at the entrance) and n° 34 (you’ll need to walk through the café).
