This museum is located along an avenue full of greenery and lined by artists’ workshops. It is housed in the Villa Marie-Vassilleff, named after the female Russian painter who lived and created an academy here from 1915-18, frequented by artists such as Picasso, Matisse, Braque, Chagall, Modigliani etc. The museum hosts temporary exhibitions linked to the history of the district and its artists. A permanent gallery is dedicated to Frans Krajcberg, a Brazilian sculptor of Polish origin.
