Its oblong silhouette, rising from the heart of the district it dominates from a height of 209 m, has become a part of the Parisian landscape. At night, it emerges above the roofs of the city like an illuminated vessel. Access to the 56th storey, designed as a belvedere, gives the visitor (on clear days) an extraordinary panoramic view of Paris.
