Musée Portuaire star : The Michelin guide review

This museum retraces the history of Dunkirk and its port. Thirty or so models are on display, representing an impressive array of vessels ranging from schooners, outrigger trawlers and three-masters from the 18C to giant, modern super tankers. Three quayside boats hosting themed exhibitions are also accessible to visitors: Le Sandettie (1949), a fine example of a lightship, the Guilde barge (1929), and the duchesse Anne (1901), a superb three-master.
