Le Secq des Tournelles Museum star : The Michelin guide review

This ironwork museum, situated in the Flamboyant-style church of St Laurent has a fine collection dating from the 3C to the 19C. Larger items such as balconies and stair rails are displayed, along with locksmithing items from the Gallo-Roman period to the 19C, some unexpected oddities including amputation equipment and snail baskets, plus items from everyday domestic and professional life.

    Pros

If you are intrigued by decorative arts, this museum is a knock out for its stupendous collection of iron works. The sheer variety of items, from jewelry to cutlery to a fabulous Italian bed. It's worth the journey.
