These gardens adjoining Toulouse‘s Abattoirs (transformed into a museum of modern and contemporary art) extend all the way to the Garonne. There is a lovely view over the city’s right bank from a dike overlooking the river. Note the medieval ramparts that encircle the park, one of the few remaining stretches of 16C fortifications in the former capital of Occitania.
