The 18C former Palais Communal (town hall) today houses the Bourse du Travail (trades council). Behind it is Saint-François bell tower, the remains of a convent that was transferred to Cimiez. There’s a fish market every morning around the fountain. The square leads onto the very lively rue Pairolière.
