Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption church contains three masterpieces by Primitive Nice artist Louis Bréa: a Pietà (1475), a Crucifixion (1512) and a Deposition. The Musée Franciscain recalls the work of the Franciscans in Nice from the 13C to the present day. There is a magnificent 17C illuminated antiphonary. The monastery gardens form a balcony over Nice, the Château and the sea, Mt Boron and the Observatoire (Nice observatory).
