The somptuous Grimaldi palace was built in the 17C on a Genoan forteress from the 13C that was joined to the rock. The very beautiful Honorary Court of the Hercules Gallery, is to be admired; decorated with frescoes by Ferrari, on and three million pebbles. The double turn stairway, leads on to different salons and the Throne room where official receptions are held. In addition to the rich furnishings, you will see portraits signed by Van Loo and Rigaud, which are certainly worth a detour.
