Wilbur Wright Monument : The Michelin guide review

Along with his brother Orville, Wilbur Wright (1867-1912) was one of the pioneers of aviation. Situated at the entrance to the tunnel under the old town (on the Sarthe side), you will see the monument by Paul Landowski commemorating his “aeroplane experiment” which was carried out in the Hunaudières in 1908, at the request of Léon Bollée.
