Rue des Forges : The Michelin guide review

This is one of the city's most characteristic streets. At nos 52-56, the hôtel Morel-Sauvegrain, which once belonged to one of Charles the Bold's companions, has a 15C façade. At no 40, the classical doorway of the hôtel Auriot contrasts with the elegant arcaded façade. At no 38, Milsand house offers a splendidly over-ornate façade said to be the work of Hugues Sambin. In an interior courtyard at no 34, the 15C hôtel Chambellan has an extremely fine staircase.
