This was built from 1734-1743 by Jacques Gabriel (who was the father of the architect of the Petit Trianon at Versailles). The central tower bears a clock which the people of Rennes call affectionately « the Big one », it is linked to two impressive pavilions by two curved buildings. In the right wing is the «Rennes Pantheon ».
