this sanctuary built in 1844 has a marvellously rich interior decoration which sets the cathedral apart. The lavish interior is epitomised by the stucco wall covering which is bedecked with paintings and gilding. Make sure you see the retable sculpted from wood with a guilt finish which is located in the chapel. This Flemish piece from the 16th century is one of the most important of its kind.
