Musée Crozatier : The Michelin guide review

This museum, in the Vinay gardens, depicts local life via a pleasingly varied series of exhibits, including stones, mechanical models, a praxinoscope (E. Reynaud, 1877), a prototype sewing machine, Velay’s crafts and traditions, and a lacework collection. In the fine arts section, note the composition and colouring of the remarkable robed Madonna. The museum even has an ornithology section!
