Place Stanislas : The Michelin guide review

The square's main point of interest is the marvellous gold-plated wrought iron gates made by Jean Lamour that adorn the four cut-off corners and entrances to Rue Stanislas and Rue Sainte-Catherine. The northern gates surround the fountains of Neptune and Amphitrite, by Nime artist Guibal. Five raised and two ground-floor pavilions complete the startling harmony of this square which is crowned with a Statue of Stanislas Leszczynski.
