War Photo Limited : The Michelin guide review

The aim of this exhibition space is to raise awareness of and teach us about war photography, and to show war as it really is: raw, venal and terrifying, as seen through the eyes of famous photographers, and stripped bare of aesthetics or ideology. Rather than merely reinforcing representations of war in the world, the curator’s aim is to challenge them, and to explore their similarities and differences, from Afghanistan to Sierra Leone, via Iraq and… Croatia.
