Brantford star : The Michelin guide review

Named for Six Nations chef Joseph Brant, this manufacturing city, located on the banks of the Grand River, is also famous as the family home of inventor Alexander Graham Bell and birthplace of hockey great Wayne Gretzky. Once a manufacturing centre, Brantford saw its major industries, based on farm equipment, collapse in the late 20C. Recently, Ontario’s strong economy has brought in new employment, while residents have striven to develop tourist attractions and beautify the city.
