The church of the Assumption boasts a fine ceiling in the shape of a ship's hull. It contains a beautiful, elaborately carved iconostasis. Also noteworthy are the paintings under the canopy: dating from 2003 and 2004, they are the work of local artists perpetuating the local school of art's tradition, over one hundred years old.
