Town Hall Park : The Michelin guide review

The Rathauspark (Town Hall Park), laid out between 1872 and 1873 puts the main buildings of the Ring into perspective. It has eight sculptures honouring the men who contributed to Vienna's history, from Duke Henry II Jasormigott who chose the city as his capital to the architect, Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach, a master of Vienna Baroque style. A large Christmas market takes place in the park in December with open-air concerts in July, and films projected on a giant cinema screen.
