The Maria-Theresien-Strasse enables to enter Innsbruck with a spectacular view of the Old Town. The Nordkette stands in the background, with its rocky peaks and breathtaking, wooded slopes. The St. Anne Column stands in front, flanked by several fine Baroque façades. In the Old Town, the lively streets squeeze between narrow and tall colourful houses, from the river to the cathedral, where you can find major museums.
